IDEX is the Largest and most important International Defense Expo in the International World, and the entire concept and set up as developed by my efforts. Now it is a highly successful event, attended by the highest level dignitaries from around the world. In conjunction, two magazines were created and publish, one is the UAE Air Force Magazine, and the Gulf Defense Magazine, covering new, newest technologies, and highlighted the latest products from defense manufacturer from around the world.

This company focused on bringing expertise and specialized technologies from abroad, developing business and setting up operations in the local UAE market. This included activities such as Saudi Oger (one of the largest construction companies in the Middle East, based in Saudi Arabia). We developed a Diabetes Center, built palaces, hotels, and roads. We developed several projects such as Top Foam in Al Ain City and Cash Club sports promotion, and Al Super Magazine (related to sports, and quickly leading sports magazine in the Arab World.)

Syrian Investment & Development Corporation (SIDC) Damascus, Syria

I left the UAE in 2009 to start SIDC, for the purpose of taking advantage of the growth in the Syrian market at the time. During those two year, I developed several business plans such as energy from waste, resorts, the Canadian Village, an International Hospital, and a modern series of service stations and variety stores. I also signed a JV with Bouygues of France to build a new modern airport, and with Toto of Italy to build a modern infrastructure for super highways, subways, and trains. I also developed a plan to modernize the communications sector in the country with JVs involving Saudi Telecom and Turkcell. From Turkey and Etisalat from UAE Finally, I created an initiative to modernize the city of Homs and created the Homs Dream venture.

Syrian National Investment & Development Council (SNIDC ) Istanbul - Turkey

Created The Syrian National Investment & Development Council (SNIDC) and announced & launch of its first development projects to service the Syrian in turkey and Syrian in the freed areas of Northern Syria.

Specially New and Secure GSM & Wireless Communication Network was branded as Syrian FreeCell.

Syrians in exile are increasing in numbers, daily. At SNIDC, whilewe plan for development programs for Syria after complete liberation, we are focusing more effort at the present time to take care of the basic needs of the Syrian people in exile.

Dr. Akram also started the Hayati 4 Syria.fm radio service to update Syrians about what latest news about the progress of getting Syria freed and to keep the hopes for all the Syrian refugees in Turkey and in Europe that Syria will always be a live.

He also started the Syria Express Debit Card so Syrians can purchase products and services as they lived abroad.

He started the Syrian National Investment Development corporation for the purpose of attracting capital and funds for building the New free Syria.

He started the Hala Syria from Istanbul bi-weekly Newspaper for all Syrians to stay well informed about what is happening in their country.
